Ras Al Khaimah Gaming Resort opening in early 2027

Anticipated for a grand opening in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island will mark the MENA region’s inaugural venture into integrated gaming resorts. Announced last Monday, the project is taking shape in Ras Al Khaimah, with the current structure already reaching a height of 40 metres. The towering building is expected to achieve its full height of over 300 metres by the last quarter of 2025.

Todd Lenahan, the president and chief creative officer of Wynn Design and Development, which has masterminded all of Wynn’s gaming resorts, said that they had drawn inspiration from Ras Al Khaimah’s historic significance as a navigational beacon, and aim for the resort tower to serve as a new iconic landmark that welcomes global travellers.

Wynn Resorts Limited has recently revealed fresh visuals of this beachfront development. The resort promises a premium blend of gaming and leisure facilities built on almost 62 hectares of land. Despite its gaming allure, the CEO previously emphasised the resort’s abundant non-gaming luxuries.

Wynn Al Marjan Island will boast a pristine white sand beach with panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf and the Hajar Mountains. This sprawling resort will offer 1,542 rooms and suites, along with 22 exclusive villa estates. Guests can look forward to a lavish pool area spanning 3.6 hectares with numerous swimming options, water features, private cabanas, and lush tropical gardens.

Additionally, the property will feature a shopping esplanade covering 15,000 square metres and a convention centre covering 7,500 square meters. This will be Wynn Resorts’ first beachside property, complementing its portfolio of prestigious locations, including Wynn Las Vegas, Encore Boston Harbour, and Wynn Macau.
