Aldar Properties has introduced its latest Dubai development, The Wilds, promising a residential experience unlike any other in the city. Positioned as the largest and most varied wildlife-integrated community in Dubai, this project is Aldar’s third venture in the emirate and comes amid the city’s continuing surge in property demand.

Developed in collaboration with Dubai Holding, The Wilds will offer approximately 1,700 homes, including five- and six-bedroom residences crafted by renowned Lebanese architect Nabil Gholam. The community will also feature a selection of three- to five-bedroom villas and one- to three-bedroom apartments, with starting prices from AED 5.1 million.

Construction is slated to commence following contract awards, with project completion anticipated in 2029. The official sales launch is set for February 27.

A Community Embracing Nature

Set along Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, directly opposite Global Village, The Wilds aims to create a harmonious blend of modern living and natural elements. While there will be no wild animals, the community will host a curated selection of native plant species, birdhouses, beekeeping zones, duck houses, and carefully designed dry stream habitats. A pond and expansive green spaces will complement the landscape.

At the heart of the community lies ‘The Nest’, a dedicated pavilion that doubles as a social hub. Designed to bring residents together, it will include a children’s curiosity zone focused on wildlife observation and environmental learning.

Amenities Crafted for Family Living

Aldar has ensured that The Wilds caters to a broad range of lifestyle needs. Plans include a premium international school, a retail hub, clubhouses, a nursery, multiple playgrounds, splash pads, a healthcare clinic, and two mosques. For those seeking wellness and leisure, the community will also feature fitness areas, meditation spots, resort-style swimming pools, and a network of walking and cycling trails.

The Wilds follows Aldar’s previous Dubai projects, Haven and Athlon, both developed with Dubai Holding. Those projects saw overwhelming demand, with units selling out within hours of release.

Dubai’s Property Market Stays Strong

Dubai’s real estate market has continued its post-pandemic boom, driven by government-led initiatives like the expanded golden visa program and residency options for retirees and remote workers. In 2023, the emirate recorded AED 761 billion in property transactions, marking a 20% increase over the previous year. The number of deals also rose by 36% to 226,000, according to the Dubai Media Office.

Aldar’s Strategic Expansion Pays Off

Aldar Properties, Abu Dhabi’s largest listed developer, has steadily broadened its footprint across the UAE and internationally, including ventures into Egypt. The company reported a 43% rise in profit for 2024, reaching AED 5.6 billion. Revenues climbed to AED 23 billion, reflecting a 62% annual increase, fuelled primarily by strong sales within the UAE.

The developer achieved record-high annual sales of AED 33.6 billion, with AED 22.2 billion generated from UAE projects alone - representing 78% of total sales, a jump from 66% in 2023.

Looking ahead, Aldar plans to launch several new developments in Abu Dhabi this year, including projects on Al Fahid Island and expansions on Yas and Saadiyat Islands. Last year alone, the company introduced 12 new projects, underscoring its growth-focused strategy.

With The Wilds, Aldar aims to redefine residential living in Dubai, offering a community where nature and modern design coexist - appealing to families and investors alike amid the emirate's flourishing real estate market.
